During the last years, azc organized for European and Japanese zoo staff special tours to zoos and aquariums abroad. European colleagues visited Japanese institution and Japanese colleagues the zoos and aquariums in different European countries, but especially in Germany.
The participants of these tours can see the different methods in husbandry and exhibition in the foreign institutions and compare them with their own zoo or aquarium. Besides such visits create a closer connection and international link which allows in the future a better exchange of knowledge and experience by mail or phone
