Visits to the Cape Province offer the possibility to observe the Big 5 in the Savannah as well as the diverse marine life around the Cap. The warm current of the Indian Ocean and the cold current from the Southern Atlantic produce a high richness of plankton organisms, which are the base in the food chain for plankton feeders and larger predators. Therefore you can observe here not only many tropical and cold water fish species, but also whales, sharks, penguins and fur seals in greater numbers. Besides it is always fascinating how the penguins conquer the human’s gardens and constructions. It is a real good neighbourhood.
On land the vegetation and flowers in spring and summer time are overwhelming. But in the National Parks also the rare White rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalos and different antelopes, especially the endemic Springbok, can be observed up close.
